The Master of Arts (MA) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees are research-oriented and are available in the following areas:
- Ethnomusicology
- Music Education
- Music History
- Music Theory
This status applies to any applicant who is not presently seeking a degree. A student of this status may apply a maximum of 12 graduate-level credits towards degree requirements if accepted into a graduate degree program.
