Post-baccalaureate Program

The University of Washingtons post-baccalaureate program in Music Education is designed for students who have already completed at least one degree in an area of music outside music education. It is also appropriate for students pursuing graduate work in music who wish to obtain a state music teaching credential in addition to their graduate degree. Post-baccalaureate coursework fulfills all requirements necessary for K-12 teaching certification in the State of Washington. As with the undergraduate program, students may elect either a vocal/general or instrumental/general concentration.
